Most spacers are known as thieves. They reduce horsepower and gasoline mileage also. There are rare occasions when a spacer may, THAT'S MAY, increase hp or mileage a little but they are rare.

What is shown is not a spacer, but the main body section of a holley carburetor. It it isn't even a complete carburetor...but I can tell you this. A change in carburetor won't add 50 hp, since the cam shaft lift and duration remains the same. At best you might see 5 hp, with larger venturies.

No. I doubt that you will get any gain that is noticable with just this. As one person said, you would have to rebuild the carb just to get this part in. While you were at that, change out the jet(s) to match the new requirements and you might see 15 to 20 hp gain. Even then, that's not very noticeable unless you are running at the drag strip. You may see a slight drop in your et but that's a maybe I wouldn't spend over $100 on.

Its not a spacer plate but the body of the carb ( not a easy bolt on item you need to rebuild your carb to install it )
Yes you could see a 50 hp increase if you replace the jet in the carb to match the new body and fuel flow.
best to buy a new high performance carb out of the box .

If the engine is built for power it is probably reasonable. If you noticed on the link it was for 650,750,850 cfm all performance carburators of old. I am not sure if there has been a carburated engine built in the last 20 years it would fit.

No, not by itself, you might see a 5HP gain at the most. With an open exhaust system and a cold air intake, maybe upto 10 horses, if your starting with 300HP.
