I have 3 kids.During the time of the divorce until January of last year I was paying her 175.00 a week. I approached her and asked if I could pay her 75.00 a week because I was working extra jobs and I wasnt spending anytime with our kids. I told her I would take them more. She said if I took them every weeked I wouldnt have to pay her anything. So I drew up the papers and she signed them. She didnt want them. She got pregnant and had a baby this past September. Now she is taking me back to court and needs me to pay her child support. I dont understand how she can give up child support and be fine for a year and now after she has another baby (not by me) does she need money. I have given money before. When she asked me for money and I didnt have it she threatened to take me back to court. I offered her 200.00 a month and she wouldnt take it. She now is trying to get the kids every other weekend to minimize my time with them so she can have more money. Please give me advise!!!

The ONLY reasonable thing to do is consult an attorney. You need expert advice, pertinent to your particular area.

You need to get an attorney and in the meantime. Get a minimum wage job which pays low, or your child support to this woman is going to go thru the roof. If your working at a Mcdonalds for minumum wage, she is limited on what she can collect from you. She sounds like a regular baby makin machine. She will end up on welfare anyway.
The judge is going to ask you to produce your pay stubs. It would be a bad mistake to turn in pay stubs from 2 jobs. Just give him the ones from the job where you make the least money. You cant suck blood out of a turnip and she cannot change your visitation rights unless its in the best interest of the children.

She signed a legal document. That document is binding until she goes back to court. Unfortunately you can't stop her from going back to court. You can clobber her while she goes there. I would stop being a nice person! You need to tell her that if she wants to go back to court to modify visitation and or support that you will go for full custody siting her requesting that you take the kids more often! This will either freak her out or scare her off! She may decide it's a great idea and say go for it. Get a lawyer, he will know best.

every state is different (slightly) about it. here is a child support calculator; just click on your state and fill it in. that will give you a general idea what would be ordered.

also keep in mind that child support gets an automatic cost of living increase every 2-4 years, depending upon the state.

sounds like she is using your children to get support for herself i would go ahead and go to court and let them sort all this mess out i would go for total custody of the kids and let the chips fall where they may
