child tibial is usually smaller and less solid(due to the part that the child is growing) the bone structure however changes every time the child does something like break a bone(bone becomes stronger and heavier) or does a sport that involves speed but less contact(bones become lighter but not light enough that it become brittle or weak)

the adult tibial is completely solid except that the structure changes ever 10 years. and furthermore its bigger if the person hasn't taken any kind of artificial enhancers.
