Im tryin to find out if me and my wife get a divorce and she gets custody of my son. Is my son still my dependent through the military?

YEs, he is still a dependent, with all medical rights and Champus benefits. Your son will retain his military ID card, and your wife can take him on base with it to see Dr.'s. she however will not be able to use the commissary, etc. herself.

Your son is still a dependent as long as you claim him to
be and if your wife re-marries and the new husband does
not adopt him he will still be claimed as your dependent
military wise. Be sure and check with your JAG and get
the up-dated scoop and tell them that you will still claim
your son as the dependent after your divorce and they
will tell you exactly what to do.

Yes! The military sees your son as your dependent. Actually you may not lose a stripe, but advancement could be withheld if you don't acknowledge him as a dependent.

My husband says yes and he works in the Personnel office on the Air Force base.
