I am renting a condo wif 4 other people. These people are my friends. At first, they didnt seem to have ne problems wif my pets, of 3 rabbits,... As time went by, they began to inquire from me, until when I intend to stay with them or for how long can a rabbit live,.. questions like that,... At first I found it strange,.... Until, recently, when we had a house meeting, they said that they arent very comfortable with having rabbits in the hall because of their fur,...

I tried to come with an understanding with them, yet they insisted that i either give my rabbits away or they will give them away for me,....

How to tackle dis problem?

Not there pets so they cant give them away.

You guys are renting from anouther peron right, it's the owners choice on if its okay to have pets in the condo not you friends.

Place them in your room.
How is there fur a problem? If it's them kicking stuff out then get a cage that wont let it happen, but place them in your room.
Some times the site of an animal can annoy others.
No room? make room

Rabbits do shed a lot. I agree you should keep them in your own room primarily. Vacuum very often. If you brush them weekly (outside! the building) they will shed less inside the house. You should NOT give away your rabbits just because they want you to. They gave you permission to have rabbits in the condo so they should stick with that until other living plans are expected.

I wouldn't want to live with three rabbits either, but they moved in with you knowing you had three rabbits. Get to know the condo owner pretty well, because soon it will be your word against your roommates'. Move the rabbits into your room, though, since they're your responsibility and not your roommates'. Out of sight, out of mind, hopefully.

say that they don't shed, and that you won't move in without them. Ask them to let you live there for a while so they can see how the rabbits are in the condo before they make their final choice.

If your friends knew about the bunnies before you moved in, then I would say to them deal with it. Buy them all lint removers and vacuum every day. Keep them in your room while you are out.
