My mommy asked me to make her a picture cause I draw so good and I want to make it mostly black and white with some color in there...I was thinkin blue or maybe a whole bunch of colors, but I dunno...

She is one of my all time favorite blues singers when I was
little girl. I loved listening to her.She had that wonderful whiskey
voice and even when she had caught a buzz she got into her
music like no other. At times she was a bit raunchy, you think?
But I loved her music and today there is a hint of her in Joslyn
Stone and a touch in Melissa Elridge.
I remember one of her album covers had alot of red in it .
There was a excellent documentary on last night about her.
