Almost all religions want the same outcome, people loving, helping, and teaching one another, so why are religions against each other? I believe in one God , but religions just give God different names. One love.

You're a very enlightened girl. You answered your own question better than anyone else!
I would like to add, that all religions are written by mortal man, and humans have egos and imaginations to embelish stories. also if they wanted power over their followers, the grander the story the more power they had. It's not their fault, it's human nature.
Back in those days, you could tell any thing ,using a little bit of
magic, and people would believe it.
They believed a lot of things like witch craft and that the earth was flat, and the earth was the center of the solar system for example.
Not all things that are written are false, but which ones are and which ones aren't is the paradox.
There for I personally do not have a relion to speak of, but everyone needs some basic rules too live by and and all religions give that to the differnt cultures. The tower of babel not only gave everyone a different language, but it gave different religions too.
One day we'll all know the truth and come together, but not today.

Most religions do respect each other. The Muslims do not believe Jesus was Christ but they believed he was a great prophet. Most religions teach the same central idea, in fact, the three of the most popular religions all go back to Abraham.

The problem is that people misinterpret the word/words of God. They take the message out of context and use them to preach hate. Can't we all just get along?!?!?

I think religions are the most dangerous creation of human, yes I believe in God but I am not agree with the thought who say there is lots of Gods. Every person has only one God.

Now a days every person have faith in religion even when it helps him and when it give him pain then no religion no God.

And all the persons are equal and we should have to respect their feeling so it’s too good if all the religions respect each other.

But historically as well as at present, religions aren't just choices that people make about what group to associate with. They have always been "I'm right and therefore everyone who disagrees with me is wrong." How can it be any other way when religions present, supposedly with god's authority, the teaching that only their beliefs are correct? What you refer to as loving, helping, and teaching each other is a part of religion but can equally be a part of atheism. It is a philosophy, not a religion. Spirituality is wonderful because it lets you discover the ultimate truths. But religion is the death of spirituality, the place where a central authority says "I'm right so you are wrong."

The best religion class I ever had was in my podunk high school in the middle of nowhere; we had a philosophy & literature teacher who insisted on teaching us about various religions around the world. He wasn't trying to change our religion or tell us that one was better or worse, just educating us on the various religions and letting us discuss them openly. I'm sure plenty of people in that little town freaked out when my classmates told their uptight parents what we were learning (honestly, it was such a conservative area that even though I was Catholic I couldn't go to religious ed with the other kids because I didn't go to THEIR Catholic church), but it was very eye-opening to just learn about other religions from an unbiased source.

My husband and I are Catholic and raise our children in the Catholic faith, but I don't really care what religion anyone else is. It doesn't impact my life if or how they worship; and my worship doesn't impact anyone else. I respect other faiths and cultures and in return want respect for my beliefs. I don't want anyone to "save" me or challenge my beliefs, just as I don't want to save or challenge anyone else. And I am always open to a religious discussion, not a debate, between interested parties.

If more people, not religions, were open-minded and respectful of others' beliefs the world would be a peaceful place.

People give God different names..And all religions dont teach the same..Outcome which people want is the same though..Because religion is a belief , a system... But what man needs is relationship with God.. and its not believing in God that gives joy and peace and harmony..But it is to know God and have relationship with Him...U said u believe in God..God is love but Love is not God..Even the demons believe God..But do u have relationship with God..Do you know how can u have relationship with God...God of Love, Justice..Who is your God..??

Its not the religions thats creating the hate
Religions were there long before the world was so near to one another.Imagine, how could people from ancient china know about christanity or the bubbhism from India till people started travelling and exploring?

Its just now that the technology has brought the world closer, that people are getting insecure and confused about what to believe and what not to.

Which has led to people getting territorial about their beliefs and faith

To take that a step further, it would be nice if *people* respected one another. It's the people who have the religious beliefs that don't respect the beliefs of others. We're all in a religion for the same purpose, we just possess different facets of beliefts. It's a shame we all can't just get along.

There is only one God,one salvation,GOD THE ALMIGHTY,who made us in his own image to worship him n gave us d supreme command of LOVE ONE ANOTHER,but human has made so many religions thus disobeying GOD.So if no love for each other no religion,no amount of prayers, no other god can give u peace n assure u heaven.
