I am 16, this summer my naber is going to hire me on his construction crew, he boulds cement homes. I was just wondering what i can and can't do. He has now idea and we were wondering becuse of OSHA and all.

You get working papers through your guidance office at your high school. Have your neighbor check with your state's child labor laws to see if a minor can legally conduct the work he wants you to be doing. Many jobs at construction sites are off limits to minors because of the inherent dangers.

OSHA doesn't set or enforce the child labor laws, that would be your state Department of Labor.

you cant legally work construction under age 18. He'll have to pay you under the table and you better no try to get a work permit
