My girlfriend is on Depoprovera. She has been on her period for 8 months. We've had sex about 2 1/2 months ago, could she be pregnant?

I too am on the Depo shot and havn't had my period in a long time but if she has had it for 8 months and ongoing you might want to get that looked at. I've had long periods where they seemed like they would never end but eventually they did. I don't think you should be worried if she's pregnant just whats up with the 8 month thing.

so many things wrong with this question!! if ur girlfriend has been on her period for 8 months she needs to see her OB/GYN right away!! If she has missed a shot or was more than 3 days late in getting a shot she could very well be pregnant. If ur question was that she hasn't had her period for 8 months then that's normal. Depo makes ur periods stop. Does she have any other symptoms? tender breasts, or tired? buy her a test or take her to the Dr. it takes less than 15 min.s to find out. and if she is she should not get her next shot, so find out before that time!

Do you mean she hasn't had her period for eight months? Depo provera tends to stop periods in some females. If you are worried take a pregnancy test. But, like I said, getting depo sometimes stops your period.

Depo sucks, I was on my period for 6mos on it after only 1 shot. As to your question, the answer can only be found in a pregnancy test.
