The cyclops story is from The Odyssey, Homer's second book.
And the name Odysseus gave was "Nobody".

Polyphemus, the cyclops, kills and eats two of Odysseus's crew. To save himself and the rest of his men, Odysseus gets Polyphemus drunk. He asks Odysseus his name. Odysseus says that it's "Nobody".
Once Polyphemus passes out drunk, Odysseus and his men blind the cyclops and escape while he is screaming. The cyclops's brothers all come running, but of course when they ask "who did this?" he can only answer "Nobody".

Suzy was quite correct in her critique, but she should know she should not be so hard on Noman.

Like some other books translations differ.
