No, it goes for a week straight. and sometimes stops.... But when you go Swimming wear a tampon.. and keep extras with you, Youll never kno when itll show up! also another thing i heard was that if theres like 3 girls who have their periods they Normally come one after another... so that might help when telling the day it comes..And you can also keep track by like writing the day of every mnth you have for a while and then you will see a pattern then you can see.! This is fact because it happened to me. If you are in a cool swimming pool, it can put you into "shock" and you will stop your period. If this happens, and it does not come back you will have to go to the doctor to get a shot to get it started back. You are safe if it is a heated pool as far as I know of.

no you do not stop bleedig when you are swimming. you may bleed a little less but you dont stop. you should wear a tampon if you are going to go swimming.

No. The blood just gets so watered down it's not noticed, plus most chicks'll wear a tampon.

I heard that too when I was a teenager a very long time ago. Personally, I believe a tampon is in order.
