it has to be kemp. though amare is nasty, i dont think he could have dunked against the players shawn dunked on. kemp dunked on EVERYONE: olajuwon, ewing, malone, robinson and practically the rest of the league.

Better dunker? Shawn Kemp had some nasty dunks that Amare hasn't even approached, BUT Amare dunks more than most post players. So when we say better dunker, are we talking about a player who won't be denied a dunk or just a player who threw down a nastier dunk? The first would be Amare the second would be Shawn.

A say Shawn Kemp. Because he was more flamboyant with his. He would swing around the rim. He would talk trash to the guy he dunked on. And I loved it when the Sonics played the bulls in the finals and he sat on Rodman's head. I don't see Amare doing any of this.

Depending on which time of amare too. He just had the surgery on his knee which really he's not supposed to dunk hard anymore. That's why he's been shooting more. But, anyway Amare wouldn't go against kemp. Kemp had the power.

Wow about time some one ask this question. Right now it would have to of been Kemp in his prime. But if anybody in the L reminds me of him it is Stoudemire and D. Howard.

Shawn Kemp, he was one the notorious dunkers in his day. Amare isnt even in the category of great dunkers.
