Wow I remember the first time I saw that one. I remembered it really bothering me. It took me a while to figure out why. I'm a Army Vet and have seem stuff first hand that trumps that video on the scale of disturbing things. That video bothered me because he was helpless, if he wouldn't have been, I would of never thought of it again. I still think of it once in a while for no reason, but it doesn't have the same effect. All things heal with time, especially when you are actively dealing with it, instead of just ignoring the problem. I promise you'll sleep again.

My only suggestion would be to find a good Kineseologist. In Kineseology there are techniques and adjustments to help with removing the stress/emotion relating to a trauma.
the sooner you deal with this shock to you system, the better.
PS try to move the story forward in your head as well, like see the soldiers soul entering heaven and being at peace.
All the best with this (what a sad world we live in...)

thats life.
thats what people have evolved into
sorry, but wake up and look around you, thats whats happening in this world while every one else pretends everything is alright
as for forgetting things, just put on some fast-paced, relatively-easy-to-follow, mind-numbing movie, and binge. it helps to have someone to watch with/talk to
if it really bothers you, i heard electric shock therapy may work...

Horrible things happen in our world. Most of the time, we can't do anything about it. Just remember who you are. You are someone who will not be cruel. You are someone who has compassion. You are someone who will stand up in the face of danger to protect your mother, little brother, best friend, etc. . .

Wow. That sounds pretty repulsive. I think you should try not to think about it. Watch one of your favorite movies to take your mind off of it. Or read a book about life, it will make you appreciate life that much more.

sit back to some relaxing music, or have sex, or get really busy with a chore or something, after a few days when you have gotten over it, i would find out who put it up and why just to ease my burning curiosty of why i saw something that incredible
