Our body ceases to exist, but our spirit or soul lives on.
And yes, I like the concept as this life can be tough with all it's trials and tribulations.

I believe your body ceases to exist, but your spirit/soul carries on. Everyone wants to believe there's something more after death, it's just human nature.

energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so it does not "cease to exist." it goes somewhere. but no one knows where it goes, and no one knows where it's been before it came into our reality.
