My heels are very dry with layers of dead skin built up on the big toes, pads and heels...I have had tried the callus removers (and took a nice chunk out of my foot too), and all the foot "sanding" wands there are.....I've tried moistizing and foot baths....what else can I do to have soft sexy feet? I'm getting married in July and spending a week at Cape Cod, Massachusetts....I just want nice feet!

The miracle cure for feet is exfoliation and then applying a thick layer of Vaseline and rubbing it in right after you take a shower. Do this every night and put cotton socks on over it, in the morning your feel will be incredibly soft, do this for a week to two weeks straight and they will also be noticeably smoother.

Also try getting a foot mask, its a mud mask made specifically for your feet to dissolve dead skin etc, then scrub it off, it deeply exfoliates and removes dead skin. You can get one at a drug store or beauty supply store.

Every night for the next 2 weeks cake vasoline on your feet and slide some socks on that should soften those babies up. Make sure you dont have very nice sheets on your bed for that time cause the vasoline will work through the sock and onto your sheet.

My mother had the same problems with her skin. She would get this vasoline/lotion consistency stuff called 'Bag Balm' (comes in a little green square tin) and put it on her feet and then put on socks, and sleep with them on. She would also use pumice stones and other dead skin removers to remove most of the skin. It worked for her. Good Luck!

My 14 y/o daughter has the same problem. The podiatrist just recently told her to put lotion on her feet when she gets out of the shower or bath at night. Then wrap her feet in plastic saran wrap and put socks on over that. Sleep that way. My daughter didn't have the patience to stick with it, but she did admit she saw improvement quickly.
