i have nero 7.5.5 i can't use my nero express and other

You need to update the directx on Vista. You can download it from Microsoft (dxwebsetup.exe). You'll need to uninstall 7.5.5 completely. Then run a cleaning tool available for download through the Nero website (General-CleanTool_2_1_11_3.exe). You'll then need to download and install the latest update which is currently version 7.7.5.1

1) Download and save the zip file 'general-cleantool.zip to the desktop: http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/General_CleanTool.html


2) Uninstall Nero 7 from the Windows Control Panel>add/remove programs

3) Run the general-clean tool to remove all traces of Nero from the registry

4) Go to my computer>local disk (C:)>documents and setting> click on your user profile folder>local setting>temp>Delete any

files or folders related to 'Nero'


Note: If you do not see the Local Setting folder, Click on Tools >Folder
Options>View Tab>Enable (Show Hidden Files and Folders)

5) Download and install the latest Nero 7 from the following link- http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php#opt2 and use your

serial number to install.
