Isn't it nice at times to sit on a porch and let the world go by?? I see nothing wrong with this, as a matter of fact I think we as a people should do this more often, reflect on our lives and appreciate the beauty the world is. I just answered a question from a grandmother wondering why her grandson doesn't visit any longer. As I told her, this society doesn't seem to respect or honor it's older citizens nor does it appreciate this world. Everyone seems to busy. Hey, Let the world go by for a few minutes, you might learn something.

For me the world goes by every day. I'm always focused on the present, and the future becomes aware to me only when I have something to look forward to. I let the world spin, and never count how many times it spun, I hope to never wake up and notice I am growing older.

Sure..
It's called setting time aside for yourself.
Everyone needs it occasionally.
It'll still be there when you get back.
