I am writing a research paper on how "horses are like angels" In the past I either read or watched something on tv on how horse farms are having criminals help out on the farms and getting their lives back on track.. I tried googling it but nothing came up. Please ASAP! thanks

One I've heard of is the Warm Springs Correctional Facility's Wild Horse Program. It's based in Carson City, NV. Basically, the prison takes feral mustangs. Trainers work with the inmates to break the horses to halter and saddle. The inmates do most of the riding and actual working with the horses. When the horses are "finished," they're adopted out. The program's website is at http://www.mustangs4us.com/prisonhorses.htm. They might be able to direct you to other, similar programs. Good luck!

This was suppose to be happening at Folsom Prison, however, I have heard rumors that the warden has put a stop to their taking care of the horses. Best place is to check with the prison wardens. They should know first hand what is going on.
