Islamic terroism is threat that can grow if left unchecked: what is the liberal plan to resolve it?

I am an indipendanent that thinks like a democrat about the war by the way.

And to all the conservatives yes I have an opinion about what to do.

I recognize liberal and conservative is just a label; what I am trying to do with this question is create harmony amoung the two self labeled groups and show how we can solve conflicts without violence.

And no just appeasing to the extremist won't work they take a normal religion like Islam and turn into a message of hate; we need to stomp them out but without using violance.

Personally I think we should turn the public against the extremists by providing food, housing, education, etc to show proof that the united states is not evil.

Tyranny can only exist when the people are desperate and poor.

you shouldn't even have to ask this question. only in america is this question asked. you want to stop "islamic" terrorism? then we need to not do the things that islamic terrorists say are the motivations for them being terrrorists to begin with. Like say, having israel drop u.s. bombs on them and using israel to keep middle-easterners in check, building military bases in their holy lands, overthrowing and supporting governments based solely on our geopolitical interests, putting on sanctions that result in many deaths, setting up puppet-governments, wiping out anyone that is strong enough to oppose the israeli-american-turkish lobby, destroying their countries and rebuilding them to ensure that the wealth is redistrubuted to international corporations rather than used to help the people. Amazing, we terrorize a region for 50 years and have the audacity to ask why some of them have become crazy enough to fight back and murder innocent people. nowhere else in the world would people even have to ask this question.

"Liberals" are not one homogeneous group of people, so "liberals" don't have a plan to stop it, any more than "conservatives" do or any other broad group. This is not and should not be liberal versus conservative. It should be about people who are interested sitting down and working together to find the best solution.

And while Islamic terrorism is a threat to world peace, so is an American president who wants to bomb everyone who disagrees with his own extreme point of view.

Try to show them that we mean them no harm, and we respect their ways, and will build special prayer rooms and set up speacila sharia courts and whatever they want if they will please just stop killing us for a few days please please please please....
