how do I get on my web site through ftp?

I can get on my go daddy acount but I cant modify my web page

There should be instruction in their account access area. There is no file conversion. You simply use FTP to place the file on their hosted server.

an example being.....

ftp://upload.comcast.net

Do you mean see your converted files?
Log in is like:
-domain name that you're hosted at (even if you have your own domain)
-username
-p.w

Usually you should have got an e-mail sent to you explaining how to log in and stuff.
