i want my closet to get a makeover without buying new clothes how do i redesign my plain casual clothes.

use A LOT of accessories! when u put on old clothes (especially solid colored clothes) fold them up and tie the in the back w/ a scuncii. but the main thing 2 do is accesorize w/ belts & jewlry (chunky solid color jewlry is very popular now) OH...& also layer ur clothes! that can make a plain shirt look pretty & cute! :] good luck!

you need to know how to sew
and you need imagination
and a sewing machine
buy fabric at joanns. thats what i do
i bought a plain black shirt at target for like 4 bucks
and then bought dennis the menace cartoon fabric at joanns and made a really cute shirt with ribbons and cartoons
and it says NANCY on the back in iron on letters
ppl always compliment me whenever i wear it
you could cut up stuff too
like cut off the sleeves or cut slits in the sleeves or make a V neck or something. be creative

well for starters, look at the stuff you have. you can layer things, wear long sleeves under short sleeves/tank tops b/c that seems to be in but i don't really like that style (your opinion), you can always put a cool belt with something plain to give it pizazz, try wearing your hair differently, add jewelry, use what you have and put it together anyway you want! i wear a shirt differently everytime whether it be my jewelry or the pants i wear with it.

You buy imprints and iron them on and sew ons that are cute, or hot and you can sew buttons or bling to them.Plus paint splatters is a cute and fetch desing.It makes it stand out when it is your own style.You decide.I design so depending what shirt or jeans or you know what type of clotheing it is it really depends what type of add - on you add - on.Talk to your shirt about it.LOL.
