I started out wanting more, needing me,

I wanted the things I didn’t have but didn’t need and even worse.
They ‘needed me’.
But then I saw, I didn’t need it.
I needed to get a look at my grip.
My statistics were ‘whoa’
On overload,
But then I looked in the sky,
That’s when I realized,
Life’s a gift, you don’t need that, you don’t need this.
You need yourself, your courage, your brains.
Your mind, your health, not material things.
