If you've gone from being overwhelmed to underwhelmed, that's probably a good thing! Less stress and such. Good for you. :)

I don't think there is a word underwhelmed but maybe there is and it feels like being bored and having to much time on your hands, nothing to do. It means just how it sounds. Both being underwhelmed and overwhelmed can be bad, and are not that good....long term.

I am not sure that being "overwhelmed" a lot is really good. It can take a lot of energy out of you.
I, in a joking way, speak of being "underwhelmed" when something is going on that really does not interest me or excite me. I rarely stay in those situations, not to seek excitement, but not to get drained. I have better things to do with my life.

OK, I can tell you what being overwhelmed is like. I have to go to the washroom, and three toddlers are beating down the door!!Or, I`m waiting in line at the bank and my five year is flirting with the bank lady, ( because he knows she`ll give him stickers). Oh, and my hubby calls six times a day asking " How is your day going", while I`m trying to get to the bathroom with three toddlers trailing behind me. NOT COOL!!
