I have seen sheep and goats do that all of my life. It is just their way of interacting with each other. Nothing ever comes from it. Just enjoy watching them do it. For all I know they may be telling each other jokes and gossip. They just use the kick as an attention getter. Like when we tap each other on the arm or something.

My sheep and goats do this and I see it as a sign of establishing a pecking order...that's what I assume it is!
