Watching a funny movie/tv show, and doing anything that makes me smile makes me feel better. That, or bringing a smile to someone else, makes me feel a whole lot better when I'm having a bad day. Also, looking a pictures of loved ones or talking to someone I care about makes me feel great too. Taking a hike or run outside is also a great way to get a natural "high." I'm sure there are a lot more I could add to the list, but these are the ones I usually go to first.
Take care :)

well i listen to feel good songs, or i start to write something about what i feel (free writting) especially i am a very private person. Since I know I can express myself through a pen and paper, I am able to let my emotions flow through my writing. Then I read what I wrote and think of what really makes me feel down, maybe I am scared of something, or feel turned down or rejected... etc... and then i start to think of how will these experiences make me a better person and start to move on. Remember you will only know your inner strength when you experience though times in life, yet there is a greater challenge... to come out of that trying times with a happy disposition, knowing that you will undoubtedly become stronger and a better person if not for your sad experiences.

Some kind words from people on here. Eating food, Watching TV you know the usual. I was feeling pretty down for a while after a hard break up and talking here seem to get my mind off things. Hope you feel better! Keep your chin up!! People do care about strangers out there!

Lots of things can make me feel better. Exercise, talking with a friend, journaling about my problem, dressing up, going out where other people are, praying, watching a really funny movie. These all help and there are so many other things which help (once in awhile a little chocolate isn't a horrible thing either). Hope you feel better!

Depends upon your age. If you are a youth, chances are it is hormones. Nothing worse than the frustration like that to bring one down.

The answer? Even if you are not a youth and it is not hormones, getting out of your self and finding someone to be with that really needs you can be a great help. I don't mean getting into inappropriate behaviors! Visit a sick friend or relative. Visit an elderly neighbor and let them talk about their younger years. Just listening will make you realize how much better off you are and will pick up your spirits as you pick up theirs.

I try to call my boyfriend or another close friend. If that doesn't work or if I just want to be alone, I get in bed with a good book, and I read until I fall asleep. I usually feel a little better when I wake up.

Upbeat music. If I hear the 80's tune Love Shack by the B-52s, I always get in a better mood.

When you're alone and life is making you lonely, you can always go ...

Downtown!

When you've got worries, all the noise and the hurries seem to help, I know ...

Downtown!

...Sorry, that was silly of me. Seriously, I remind myself that there are people who are a lot worse off than I am. I put on some good music, go online and read the comics, if it's nice outside go for a walk ... change your environment and you can change your mood.
