Maybe this happens elsewhere too, but why on earth do I see dozens and dozens of women walking around the city using their old beat up (!) Victoria's Secret bags like a purse/book-bag/lunch box?!

Ok, so I guess my question *really* is: "Why do people think its actually "cool", "stylish" or "sophisticated" to carry their book and lunch in a used underwear bag from a store virtually every women in the country shops at?

i don't understand it either. it just seems like a way of saying 'hi! i'm stupid and i have to spend ridiculous amounts of money on bras and underwear that almost no one will see!'

If your talking about the shopping bags I don't know! But VS actually has purses! I think they are trashy if they use beat up shopping bags! It makes them look really poor!!!

The real reason is that they feel very sexy carrying the bags which naturally bring attention to them.

because victoria's secret has like the cutest bags! and they are really easy to carry and big enough to fit multiple things in it!
