There's a little scroll bar on the right side of the window with the EULA. Scroll down.

If that's not what you're talking about, the other solution is a little more in-depth.

Navigate to the "WTF" folder (yes, it's actually called that) in the World of Warcraft directory (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF on my computer).
Open "Config.wtf" with wordpad. NOT notepad. You'll see stuff like this:

SET hwDetect "0"
SET gxResolution "1440x900"
SET gxMultisampleQuality "0.000000"
SET fullAlpha "1"
SET lodDist "100.000000"
SET SmallCull "0.010000"
SET DistCull...

and so on.

You mentioned in your question you'd gone to the desktop properties window and looked at your screen resolution? Enter that number where it says SET gxResolution "XX".

Save and close the file.

When you boot up WoW, it should be the same resolution as your desktop.

Try clicking F11. Is there a minimize button on the screen? If so click it,then put your mouse pointer on tip of page. When pointer change's to double ended arrow, click on it and move screen to size you want.
