Some stations believe that graphic scenes such as intense fighting, gore scenes, and flag covered coffins shouldn't be seen by the American public on the news. When we show things on television, we need to keep in mind that children to see it. Some sights are inappropriate for children, or should at least be subject to parental supervision. Intense fighting and gore could be available on the internet without being on TV.
