the book is always better, but its nice to see the characters in action.

I never, ever say this, but the movie was so much better. I didn't enjoy the book much at all, so when I heard they were doing a movie I wasn't that interested until I saw the cast. Since it was Anne Hathaway, I gave it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. The book tried, it really, really did, but the movie took out a lot of extraneous information and tightened the plot.
