obviously slavery and tax and spend are not on the same level, however if Virginia can recoginze the devestating impact of supporting something that negative to society, why not have California recognize the destructive impact of tax and spend to the economy and the self reliance of most of the working american public of failed liberal extremist welfare schemes.

Im truly amazed how many liberals think buying yourself a 757 at taxpayers expense is "no big deal" and tax and spend schemes will get paid for "somehow". I see nothing wrong, illegal, or immoral about the government allowing me to keep more of what i legitimately earn and i see the idea that i want more of my own money in my possesion as unpatriotic or "special interest" as one respondent called it...ABSOLUTELY HILARIIOUS..

As a citizen of the great state the "People" Republic of California I extend my deepest apology to all me fellow Americans not just for Nancy but for Barbra, Diane and all the leftist "progressive" liberals we have sent to Washington as well.
ps
I didn't vote for any of them.

Wow has Faux News fooled you. Californias Welfare State is the 6th largest economy in the World. The minimum wage in San Francisco is $9.14 an hour, there are no WALMARTS because they won't pay that much. That results in more family owned stores. Try going there and seeing for yourself instead of letting FOX do your thinking. Remember Ruppert Murdoch is Hillary's biggest supporter.

They should be apologizing for the welfare state that was created. And the false civil rights movement that blacks were subjected to in the 60's. That ruined their lives worse than slavery. Thanks Jesse and Al.

What is "destructive" to one person is not to another. Society is bigger than you and your special interests.

What is hilarious to me is how simple minded you are and how you unquestioningly assume you're so 'legitimate' in your earning. As if life were as simple as your block head brain.

They should, but to tell you the truth who would want to see a feature length apology, or in print what would take the length of a novel. Lets face it, it would take that much. olhip48

Yes, they should. And so should you apologize for your poor grammar and spelling.
