What to buy at Dubai?

What kind of things do people buy at Dubai. I know gold jewellery is cheap over there. Do they sell 14K gold there or only 18K and up?

yes you can. but you know what better buy the 24K gold. I have one ring before but out of financial crisis I sell it for a lower cost..I am so disappointed everytime I remember I sold it. In anyway, enough of my reminiscing - its pretty much cheap their (GOLD) and one thing as well that you must find in dubai is the perfumes all branded colognes and perfumes are absolutely NO TAX at all, you can purchased for a lower rate and sell it back wherever country you are on a regular rate.. whew! money is on the go! hehehe good luck! :)

If you wanna bargain go to the Gold Souk in Dubai.
Get whatever you want that's gold at the Gold Souk.
Bring your money just in case of high prices.

Hi,, you can buy 18 and 24 k jewelry at the gold suk....

Actually, i prefer the 18 k stuff,, and you can get it cheaper than the 10 k crap we get stuck with here in America.... its a rip off here....

apart from gold there r other thing u can see and compare prices of
electronics specially from east asia
clothes or ready made garments which r exported from the numerous intustries here they even have known brand labels in factory outlets in ajman, if u know where to find them
