They had to get rid of the evidence quick...do you think they lied about recycling the steel and just dumped it?

I know I asked this question last night but I wasn't happy with the answers...so I'm asking it again.

Very good theory and I wouldn't hold it past them.

Far as I know, there is a big dump site that still contains debris. Thought I heard that the problem with recycling and clean up is all the asbestos.

I do know that some of the steel from the collapse was used in the new Navy amphib carrier USS New York.

I would guess it was recycled. There were tons upon tons of steel on that site and it wouldn't make any sense just to dump it in the ocean. Steel can fairly easily be melted down and reformed for other uses.

What evidence would they need to get rid of and how do you remove that amount of steel quickly? Debris was being clearly from WTC for months upon months after the towers collapsed.

So you keep asking the same question until somebody gives you the answer you want? Brilliant!

Just say NO! to unfounded conspiracy theories!

What an idiot! Any scrap metal recycled will have to be melted down anyway - ie no evidence left - why dump a valuable resource in the ocean?

I read some time in January about a new Coast Guard ship that was built out of the steel from the WTC. I forget the name of the ship, but it was a touching story from those who built it and when it was commissioned. So technically, it's in the Atlantic ocean, but it wasn't "dumped" - it's now protecting our shores!

Oh yes the tons and tons of steel were disposed of hidden in the ocean. To hide some secret government involvement in 9/11.

That means THOUSANDS of cleanup workers were also part of the grand conspiracy. Anyone who lives in New York or saw it being carted away was fooled.

This was all going on in the center of a city of MILLIONS. Do you think that ANYTHING covert could have been done with the 108 THOUSAND truckloads of debris?

Some of the steel was recycled much of the other remains went to the city dump.

With 1.8 million tons of debris that would have been thousands of unoticed barge trips out to the ocean to dispose of the remains.

There are millions of people who saw the debris removal, dont you think some of them would have noticed thousands of barges going out to sea. (or do you think the debris was all removed at night by stealth submarines). Do you think that all of the drivers who drove the 108 thousand trips full of the remains were in on the secret?

See any signs that said "Wanted, 500 garbage barge drivers and waste disposal workers to do top secret government project"

And if they did would they all keep quiet???

I had read that much of the steel was sold, cut and recycled. Good quality steel can be recycled and reused numerous times.

a lot of the metal was recycled... there are pieces all over the place, there are some in the USS New York, there is a piece in a park in southern California and there is allot of pieces in scrap yards all over the east coast...

you can keep spouting off the inane drivel of the 9/11 conspiracy wackos all you want, it doesn't make it true...

So you're more worried about the rubble that the terrorists caused than the 3,000+ Americans they killed? Real nice.
