This may not be what you mean, but several years ago I broke my shoulder and arm; and my doctor was the ortho. surgeon for the S.D. State Rugby team; so he sent me to the same physical therapy program they went to.

One of the Rugby players taught me how to "skate mop" my kitchen floor; You do this by first boiling water; putting a drop of soap or clorox in the water, and putting a cup on the floor; and then, using an old towel, you stand on the towel with one foot and skate over the floor where the water is. It takes some time, and you have to be careful with the water, but it sure helped me keep my kitchen floor clean. And sometimes today, I still use this trick if my back or knees are bothering me.

I will never forget that young rugby player standing in the middle of the PT room, teaching me to "skate mop" with a clean towel. Today, 10 years later it still makes me smile!

I used a kitchen ice pick to punch a hole in a Vitamin E tablet so that I could put the liquid inside into my dog's food.

I used olive oil for lubrication, if you get my drift. It was actually nice and made us hungry afterward.
