Ancient Romans and Greeks did not make movies, but Homer's The Odyssey is a great piece of literature that was turned into a movie.

besides the obvious answer that there were no movies back then......
I think you mean movies with an ancient Greek/Roman theme?
My favourite by far was Ben Hur

A good movie about ancient Rome that I enjoyed is 'Spartacus'.
A good movie about ancient Greece that I enjoyed is 'Alexander'.

There's all the basics like Gladiator and Ben Hur but my suggestion is that you wait for 300 to come out. That promises to be highly entertaining (though probably not very accurate...)

This might sound a little cliche, but we watched Troy in class and it was TERRIFIC!!! I didn't fall asleep once. I actually really enjoyed it.
