You will be surprised, a small portion of Americans are aware of the origins of Anti-Americanism. Some do care. Unfortunately, most are exhausted with the wars around the world.
Some of the reasons why most Americans care little about most of the problems in the world with the exception of Darfur, Iraq and Palestine is because they had been taught from small that the U.S. does everything good and has never done anything wrong to anyone else.
Also, this view is narrated with overt use of Utopianism, as U.S. leaders have said, 'the U.S. is a beacon of Democracy, hope, and example for other countries to follow. Americans are always the virteous and most tolerant of everyone else.' So goes the Utopian views and words of American education and textbooks from preschool to post university jobs. This views are never challenged when it comes to foreign policy or national discussion. This lack of critical analysises farther impedes examing the U.S. mantra of 'we're the brightest of the stars.' 'The world would be endanger without us.'Our way is the best alternative for the world' and the civilized world is at war with evil.
This utopian vision is rubbish if you look at how U.S. interventation, treatment & views toward other countries crisscrossing the world from Cuba, Haiti beinning in the 20th Century til the present has been hypocritical, biased, judgemental and unfair.
This expression of the uniqueness of the U.S. which is called American exceptionalism views other nations as somehow incapable of doing good for their citizens or helping their neighbors which is not true. As if the world knows nothing of diversity, tolerance or compassion. Its as though Democracy is an American invention...Rubbish! It's a universal ideal and accepted by the world but does not wish to be interpreted by the U.S. Nor enforced by it.
It also does more to demonize any other government or economic system that does not follow the status quo of the U.S., liberal democracy and capitalism, which as they teach in American schools is the most freest and better alternative for most poor nations. Than there is media bias that sees any critical assessments of U.S. Foreign policy or criticisms of Americans' inward look at the world or views totally through their lens is seen as anti-Americanism.

Actually, we get a long with almost every country on the planet. Most of them are our trading partners which includes almost all of Asia, all of Europe South America, you know the only people we do not get along with are the terrorists that are trying to kill us thanks for bringing it up. Most people in the world are just fine with the US and a lot of people want to move here. When I am in China, people are very polite and say great things about the US. I think a lot of this stuff is in your imigination.

Other country's hate us because they have such low I.Q. and are kept that way with the threat of death and made to think paradise is where they go if they commit suicide...it makes me sad and very concerned that so many of those will never know what freedom of want, speech and the right to persue what one wants in life because they are born under such rule..

You're very vague. I can't believe that others are actually being defensive about your comments. Your comments are meaningless without specifics. What things are you talking about?
