first of all, dont panic
second, print out a nice big easy to read map of europe, the one from the book doesnt usually help if you have to memorize it
third, divide it into parts, study part by part
fourth, find a blank map and try labeling without looking at the map

Well, when i study for a map test, i copy/print extra copies of the map and just look at it a while then every hour or so at night i'll write what i know on a different map so you can tell what you know, and what you need to memorize more.

Use rhymes to remember the names and capitols together and draw/ copy simple maps over and over, writing the names in.

Try using phrases/words from the beginning letters of the capitols.
Such as, you can go from left to right, top to bottom with...
I,I,N,S,GB,D,F,S,F,B,N... you get me?
