Tossed something to it's proper place only to have it miss, and then have to go pick it up and put it away anyway?

All the time and I never learn, "what are the odds that I'll make it this time?" And I throw it with such voracity, Like if I was Abdul-Jabbar with the famous Sky Hook. Just to get up once again to pick it up before the wife finds it.

Yes I have. I set a glass on the kitchen counter too close to the edge I was in a rush then I had a mess to clean up.

Yep!...but there have also been instances where I just threw something behind me being lazy and it actually landed in the exact place....I freak out and celebrate you know do my little victory dance...for example I was swimming and i threw my goggles behind me only to land on the deck, and I would pick them up later...but they landed exactly on the post hanging by the strap....THAT WAS SOME MARY POPPINS SH|T!

I only go after it a 2nd time if it's truly a danger to others being left there... if it isn't then it can wait for round 2.
