There was a song back from the '70's called "Taxi", by Harry Chapin. It's about a taxi driver who picks up a passenger one night; he learns that she's his old girlfriend, and they start talking about the past and their lives now. The song's like eight minutes long, and there's an unintelligible part (bridge?) in the middle. Hope that helps.
