If terrorists attacked U.S. for their religious beliefs and we retaliated to uphold our religious beliefs, then why haven’t any of these religions use peace & love to resolve the problem?

Cause its really difficult to be a door mat.
There is such a thing as justifiable war.
Peace and love worked in hippie communes until they all die from ODs.
It will work when everyone is on the same page, but so far there is always someone around that sees it as a weakness, so they get greedy and take lands & food away from people and if a person doesn't fight for those things they and their families will die.

Now, only God knows what will happen to them, but I think that terrorists will be punished severely for what they have done, because they have done terribe things in the name of God.
By the way, I'm a Muslim.
Also, we live at a time when the words "peace" and "love" are shunned aside by most political leaders. All they can think of is "money", "war", and occasionally "oil".
And in response to whoever it is that answered on top of me, we can only fight TO PROTECT OURSELVES. Terrorists and "extremists" (although I feel that they are more secular than anything) interpret this in a different way to suit their needs. Really, it's pathetic when you think about it.

excellent question if there would they would be no war no killings no rape or kipnapping. I wish many people remember this cause there would be no criminals and no victims. I like to know wheres the love and peace.

Great question.
I am a Religioius Scientist and a pacifist. I don't understand war. I don't understand the death penalty. I don't even understand people being rude.
Christians and Muslims will both tell you that according to their holy books - it is okay to kill during war time.
I don't get it. It makes my heart sad.
God is Love. We really need to spread it around.
