I can't really rank the top 5
Michigan-They return Henne, Hart, and Manningham. Have talent with Arrington, a solid line with the return of Jake Long, and will be able to put up a solid D (not as good as last year, but probably a better secondary)
Louisville-Return of Brohm and several other key players. This just might be the year they could actually make it to the National Championship.
USC-Return Booty. Loss a lot of talent on both sides of the ball, but thats happened a lot to this team. They always will be in the national title hunt until Pete Carrol retires.
Florida-Tough D is returning. Loss of Chris Leak might actually hurt them, but I have faith that Tebow will do an exceptional job.
LSU-Loss of Jarmacus Russel will hurt, but they are another type of team like USC. They just seem to be able to reproduce players after players and be in the hunt for the title.
Now for the last ten,
Wisconsin
West Virginia
Texas
Notre Dame
Tennessee
Nebraska
Oklahoma
Virginia Tech
California
Clemson

Wow, tough question!!
1. Ohio State- beat last week's number 1 in WI
2. UCLA- 25-3 and with 3 losses on the road, at tough places.
3. Florida- Not counting them out until they lose in the tourny, give the current Champs some respect.
4. Wisconsin- 3 close losses all on the road, and wins against 2 top 5 teams. Possibly the best player in the country! Oh and by the way, would have beat Ohio State, if they didn't lose their big man (Butch).
5. North Carolina- They may have dropped a couple conference games, but still going to be a tough out in the tourny.
6. Texas A&M-will find a lot about this team tomorrow when they go to Texas.
7. Kansas- Over ranked nationaly, their wins are quality, but their losses were to teams thhey NEED to beat. Upset special during March Madness.
8. Louisville- Lost some games early in the year, but the HOTTEST team in the country, in the toughest conference in baskeball.
9. Gerogetown- They too lost some games early, but are hot at the right time. Again, the BIG EAST, is the strongest conf in the nation!
10. Pitt- Okay, everyone knows I like the Big East.
11.Washington State- Quality wins, several quality losses (against good teams, on the road, by few points)
12. Oregon
13. Marquette
14. Duke who would have thought they would ever be this low?
15. Texas
I am not big on the mid-major this year! Just not proven, will guarantee none make the final 8. No S. Illlinois, Butler, Memphis, Nevada--all over ranked!

1) Florida - Won the national championship AND has a super tough recruiting class coming through.
2) USC - I may hate these guys but they don't rebuild, they reload. And they absolutely put it on Michigan.
3) Wisconsin - They're bringing almost everybody back and they're the best team to not make a BCS bowl due to the 2 team rule. They'll end up Big Ten champs before it's over with.
4) LSU - They lost Russell, but have a Top 10 recruiting class that can definitely hold their own. And given recent troubles at Arkansas, they can be #2 in the SEC.
5) Louisville - QB Brian Brohm is back, healthy and has his eyes on the Heisman. He's also committed to making a national championship run and with most of his offense returning he's in good shape. New coach Kragethorpe runs a similiar offense to Petrino....so it won't take long to adjust.
6) Texas - QB Colt McCoy has the potential and the talent to lead the Longhorns back to big things. His coaching staff also did well in the off-season recruiting.
7) Notre Dame - They have a 5 star QB coming in to replace Quinn and Weis always manages to find a way.
8) Rutgers - You're going to see bigger and better things out of these guys with players like Rice returning. Schiano is on a mission and will give Louisville a run for their money in the Big East.
9) West Virginia - With both Steve Slaton and Pat White returning they have one of the most explosive run-offenses in the nation. You know what they're going to run and they still put it on you.
10) Michigan - They got pounded in the Rose Bowl, but they have Henne back and will be #2 in the Big Ten behind Wisconsin.
11) Auburn - Even with Irons returning, they're a legit SEC contender.
12) Ohio State - Why the big drop? All I can say is that they're losing their starting QB, RB, and TWO WR's to the NFL draft. Not good.
13) Arkansas - They've got McFadden and even with player tranfers they'll fair better then expected behind his running game.
14) California - They put it on A&M in their bowl game. They're an up and coming team in the PAC-10. They'll give USC a run for their money.
15) Hawaii - Their 3 losses last year were to Alabama by 8, Boise State by 7, and Oregon St. by 3. With Boise State losing Zabransky look for Hawaii under Colt Brennan to make a major statement next year......and possibly be that at-large team that makes it in to the BCS.
