i need a new processor for around $200 i was looking at the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe or the Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 Allendale or possibly the Intel Pentium D 945 Presler.... i dunno also where can i geta agood deal on the proc.... also i need a mobo to go with it... some places have combos but i dunno... if u cant tell, i pretty stuck on the intel's but if there's a argument for AMD let me know.... thanks!

Go with the Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe it is the best out of all of them.................

Not much an arguement from AMD at this point in time. Go with the core 2 duo but it will cost you a nice penny to get a good mobo to go with it tho. I sugguest get one that is easily overclockable so you crank up the speed later on instead of buying a new processor.

Get one of the dual-core processors from either Intel or AMD. The regular Pentiums suck in comparison. Go for that E6300 if you can afford it.

whatever u do don't go for the Pentium D
out of the ones u listed, i would say that the E6300 is the best
however there is a good comparison with AMD, the AMD Athlon 64 FX x2

Ahh the pentium D is worst of all three of them period. The E6300 will be your best bet. Look at newegg.com, because they are a computer hardware seller. Check out the Gigabyte 965P DS3 motherboard. I have a one with a E6300 and the performance is great.

They both work super well,the AMD will cost less.
