hmm how odd... not to my tv. i mostly get reality shows w/lots of nudity and i also get the E! network. that one channel that never quite will die...

The only thing wrong with my TV was the color spots from when my son held a super strong magnet toy up to it, but that went away. I'm happy with our channel selection, but we probably only ever watch 5% of the channels we get. The TV is still always good for video games too ;-)

Yes my TV is doing a similar thing, I spent ages moving the Ariel from one position to anther trying to pick up a well written comedy or an informative programme about the world i live in, but all I seem to get is a hyper active cretin telling me the "answer is on the screen" and urging me call a premium rate number.

maybe the channels of your cable company is already categorized and you do not subscribe to informative and entertaining channels
