That depends on what is "hot" to you? If you mean 80 degree and above, well, then between April and November would be our Summers. Still even Fiesta which is late April can offer some cool nights requiring a sweater for the evening. But, I would like to say June - October are the summer and August and September are the hottest.
Word of Advice: I love the Guadalupe River, so as long as I can spend lots of time on the river, well, it doesn't really matter how hot it gets with all the shade and cool flowing water. That and air conditioning. When a storm hits in San Antonio, it crackles down hard and lights go out! So, stay out of the water and make sure you have somewhere that is well ventilated because San Antonio Black outs can last for hours.

I lived in SA during the 80s. Back then I would have said when temps hit 90 for a high and stayed there. This would have been around late April.

It really begins to feel 'hot' around May - June time frame. Even right now we've been averaging over 75 but a far cry from being hot.

sometime in late March, early April, and it usually lasts through the first part of November.
Spring and fall are both actually about 2 weeks long at most.
