Everyone has posted some great info. I just wanted to touch on a few things that weren't already mentioned.

You CAN purchase discounted park tickets that are legitimate. Purchase these from the following:

AAA (membership required)
your local Disney Store
Costco (membership required - online travel services)
Sam's Club (membership required - online travel services)
Vons Grocery Stores - CA only

If you would like help planning for your next trip or if you would just like to read up on some fun tips and ideas that are updated monthly, visit my Disney Vacation Services My space page, at:

Questions 1-3.
A 4-Day park hopper ticket will cost you $209 for adults. However, they currently have a special that the tickets for the kids price if you purchase them on line. So you can get them for $149 if you are going before April 26th. After April 26th they will be $179. Unlike other offers this one is open to all people not just So Cal Residents.

If you order enough ahead of time they also give you free shipping on the tickets. You don't have to order them online but it is currently a lot cheeper to do so.

Here is the link to the ticket listings

California Adventure Link

If you are there for 4 days you will have plenty of time to hit all of the rides on both sides you want to go on, and some probably several times.

As I live in Cali:

Ticket Prices

Hope these help. When you get here, don't eat in the park. It's too expensive. Leave and eat somewhere outside. It's cheaper, better, and you get more food for the price. Hope this helps.

i'm uncertain what you are going to "pass over" in DCA. the sole issues in DCA for little ones are in insects Land, the Redwood Creek undertaking path, and Playhouse Disney. yet Playhouse Disney is clused till March 24 for re-imagineering, leaving an particularly small form of things of interest for small young little ones. i think of which you will spend all it slow in the Fantasyland area of Disneyland, when you consider that there are extremely some activities there for small young little ones. So in case you're in basic terms going to do one park, make it the Disneyland area.
