Hi Ellie,
Being in the shower, is a personal getaway, alone time.. Many people find comfort and enjoyment in singing, and in the shower, they feel secure enough to sing out loud, even me;) .. Many, feel no one can hear them so have no fear...as well, taking a shower is a task of routine, involving little to no thought, so ones mind is able to wonder.... It is easy to think of your favorite song when given such freedom. . ;))

Sometimes, I sing : "Total Eclipse Of The Heart", By : "Bonnie Tyler" and : "I'm singing in the rain".. ;p

I sing in the shower...and on stage. In the shower i usaully sing hard rock songs, jumpping around in the shower is FUN! yay

yeah, i love singing in the shower, i don't have to use a microphone.. i usually sing rock or mellow songs, depends on my mood.. it's fun to sing evanescence songs in the shower.. =)
