No Paul Pierce isn't a team player because he is a ball hog. I think it's cool that Paul Pierce is a ball hog because his team sucks. Paul Pierce has the ability to score 40 points a night and i want him to score those 40 points.

countless dumb kobe haters top here. Kobe had no Kevin Garnett or the main appropriate shooter indoors the NBA ray allen. yet maximum severely, James Posey. Paul Pierce isn't any the placement on the factor of greater desirable useful then kobe. people who've been guarding Paul Pierce have been Sasha, Walton , and Radmonovic. Wow you think of of kobe cant blow previous or shoot over those grownup adult men, each and every man or woman can... as today as Kobe is placed to guard Paul Pierce, he consistently passes out and consistently have good ideas. Pierce isn't greater desirable useful, and he did no longer supply up kobe. Boston protection is greater useful little question approximately that, and Laker's protection comprise a tender center and a variety of of alternative scrambling and lakers unfavorable Small Forwards. It develop into Posey's great protection on Kobe and Celtics great protection. Paul Pierce isn't any way fantastically much as good as Kobe. Why ought to each man or woman say that

Yes he is. He would love to be a team player, but he is forced to carry the Celtics on his shoulder because of the youth on his team.

He's a team player but they need him to be a leader. As one of the older players on a very young team he needs to tkae a bigger role as a leader than he does.

Okay, seriously, yes he's a pretty good team player. He dishes out about 5, 6 assists a game.

I would say yes but his team is horrible and he has never had anyone half way decent to play next to. Can you imagine being that good and your team being that crummy? Thats the nightmare he must live day in and day out.

my opinion, no. he shoots more than he passes(avg 25+ pts per game and only 4 assists per game) and as far as i'm concerned not worried about the teams standing rather than his own. as with any topic though, both sides have an argument.

With Danny Ainge as GM, we may never know. Ainge has yet to put together a team; so far all he has done is dismantle.
