Being a Giants fan I saw all there games this season and I think that Plax is one of the elite WR in the league. Mybe not top 5 but definatley not far off. With his combo of size and speed he is a major threat and proved it with his 10 TD's this season. If he had a better QB throwin him the ball I think he would be in the top 5. He doesnt drop passes like T.O. and Randy moss and he has a huge size advantage over steve smith.

I think he's somewhere between 4 and 8. He's been great since leaving Pittsburgh (cringe). Fantastic hands (the most underrated aspect of receiving. Who cares how fast you are if you can't catch the ball?). Great size. He's the prototype big receiver that you can lob the ball up to and he'll grab it over a defensive back that is probably about 7 inches shorter than him.

I'm a Giants fan so I'll say #10 and keeping these receivers in mind:

Chad Johnson
Steve Smith
Torry Holt
Terrell Owens
Marvin Harrison
Andre Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald
Roy Williams
Randy Moss** - when healthy

I think if he ranks anywhere it is probably in the top 20, maybe fifteen. He does have a great combo of size and speed, that's why he was drafted so high, but his production hasn't been incredible. He doesn't drop many passes either, but he can give up on plays occasionaly. It would probably take him two more seasons with great production to put him in the top 15 in the NFL.

I liked Burress alot better when he played in Pittsburgh. Right now there are at least 15 guys not including T.O. or Moss that I would take over him. He is a great WR, he is just not elite.

You're right about him having someone good to throw to him. Eli is not the G-man's answer tho.

You could use the same reasoning for many WR's in the NFL these days though. What distinguishes good vs. great WR's is consistency and chemistry with his QB. By the same token, a great QB can make a mediocre WR look good!

He is probably cracks the top 20. He was good when he played for the Steelers. Eli is not utilizing Plexicos height like he should.

he doesnt help that quaterback either giving up on throws he doesnt think he can get too, and on at least two occasions this last season the ball got picked off while he admired it. he has talent but he is a lazy player

Not very high. Nothing personal against the guy, there are just better receivers out there in my opinion.
