You drew it for her she gets to name it. Draw another for you and name it yourself.

does it matter? you're talking about a giraffe you drew... now unless the giraffe is alive or you are an artist and this will be the "official" title, otherwise it doesn't really matter what the name is & obviously the name Johnny Waffle makes her happy...

Well, it depends. If it is somthing that will make them feel bad if you don't, yes. Be considerate, though, and don't lie to much.
