How does putting a company on the stock market work. If this is a new company that is just starting up..?

How much would stocks sell for. Would I be able to put a startup in the Stock market. How, the more details the better! Thanks

You have to go through the Initial Public Offering (IPO) process.

it needs to be a certain type of corporation, and you need to pay some money to get on the nasdaq or nyse
