Because there is no coming back once you take that step. You can find new friends, your parents cannot fight forever, and I've seen people from highschool lose so much weight, they look like completely different people. (You however sound perfectly fine. I myself am 5'9" and 130lb. For a man, thats pretty bad :P)
People can be petty, don't let it get to you. Plus, there is always the Llama Song to cheer you up;

I've never seen the Llama song not make someone atleast smirk.

Have you heard of the concept of "Karma"? It is the Eastern Philosophies' version of "You reap what you sow" or "What goes around, comes around", etc. But there are other aspects of it, too.
Some of those other aspects deal with our responses to life's problems. Obstacles are put in our paths for what we can or will gain from overcoming them. If those projected gains contain a lesson we really need to learn, then avoiding the obstacle rather than confronting it and overcoming it only means you will encounter it again. It is far better to confront our obstacles, overcome them and learn our lessons in the lifetime in which they are presented, than to try to evade them with a poor choice like suicide.
Better to deal with them in the "here and now" and be done with them. Some variations on karmic philosophy suggest that each time a life-lesson is evaded and has to be brought up again, it's intensity and severity increases. I do not know if this is true or not, but why take the chance un-necessarily?
Anyway, life is supposed to last many decades and things change. When I was a teen and into my very early 20's I found life to be a pretty dismal experience, too - and for many of the same reasons you are citing. I moved away from home against my parents' protests and started my own life at the age of 22. At various times in that life, I have hit dismal or sorrowful slumps - when my late husband died, I thought I'd never know another happy moment for the rest of my life!!!
Now, I have a wonderful new fiance (and I wouldn't trade him for my late husband back alive and well) and am wonderfully happy.
ANY situation in life is subject to change without notice. Ride out the changes and see what they will bring. Every human condition is only temporary - it WILL change. If handled correctly, it will change for the better. If not, it could change for the worse, but if it does, then remember THAT's only temporary, too!

You WILL be MISSED!!!
You can always find new and different friends; You can always avoid your parents, to some extent; You can always lose some weight.
But I remember reading a while back a study suggesting suicide could, on some level, be an act of rage committed by someone wanting to "hurt" someone. Perhaps they are vengeful, trying to "get even". Give that some thought. Think about this: Would that be you?
Hope that helps.

I wish I were 125 lbs, sometimes through no fault of our own,we hit some rough patches in life but bad times don't last forever, eventually things resolve themselves so don't think about dying, not only because it is such a waste of a good person, but because it will ruin your parent's life even if they are so inmersed in their own problems they can't see how this is affecting you. T hey love you very much and their fighting has nothing to do with you.So please talk with someone you trust, seek help to get you thru this.Hang in there.

There are many reasons to live - you WILL make new friends and leave the old ones who do not care about you behind. Your weight is insignificant, avoid being shallow, and show the world that you are you - no matter what your height, skin colour, weight, hair colour is. The world wants to know you for what is INSIDE you ! I am not sure about your parents, there are some things you will not be able to control.

We would miss you.
You would miss yourself. Surely. life will not remain like this, there is always a down, before there can be an up. Some further time along you will wonder, how you could ever get those thoughts.
So, head up and face it!

You can have fun!
The first thing you can do is to think of what really makes you happy.
The second is to do it.
Get out of that life that is not making you happy. We always have options. You do not need to die in order for you to be satisfied. You just need to live the life that you love.

Nothing Worth living for = Nothing worth dying for
There has to be something you are good at because we all have talents. What are you good at and how can you make it something worth living for?
